Vintage Republic Steel Advertising Thermometer “Coolest Under The Sun" Penguin

Description

This Vintage Republic Steel Advertising Thermometer from White RIGID-RIB says, “Coolest Under The Sun" and has a Penguin sitting on an ice block. The thermometer measures 12.75 inches tall by about 3 inches wide. The body of the thermometer is made of thin metal tin and is in excellent condition with a raised rectangular design at the top and bottom. The main colors are red, white and blue with the numbers that are below freezing in black. The thermometer tube is glass. There is some paint loss where the mounting holes had been used and the bottom mounting tip was bent by the hammer used to mount the thermometer.
