Vintage Industrial Thermometer in Metal Case John Murcott St Albans NY Weksler?

This listing is for a thermometer in a metal case, with a pocket clip on the case. “John H Murcott Inc St Albans NY” is printed on the thermometer, and I found no other identification on either piece. It resembles photos of Weksler thermometers I found online. It screws into the metal case to stay secure, and there’s a small hole in the end of the metal case. The printed scale is from 0-100 F, and it works - I took a photo of it as found, then after I ran warm water to raise the temperature gauge. There is wear to the metal case and the metal top of the thermometer piece, but the glass itself is in great condition. I am not experienced with these (I looked up the info), so please ask if I haven’t described or shown photos of something you need to know.
