Vintage Blown Glass Cobalt Blue Fluted Kerosene Oil Lamp Shade Ground 4" Fitter

Description

Estate found.  Vintage Blown Solid Cobalt Blue Glass Fluted Kerosene Oil Lamp Shade, Ground Edge Fitter Neck, Mint, Never Used.  Measures approx 8" overall height; Fitter measures 4" across; measures about 7" across widest point of curled top flutes and same diameter of the rounded "body."  Fitter base is ground.  Appear to be blown glass and hand fluted -- no mold marks.  Some tiny air bubbles and thin "swirls" in the deep blue cobalt glass.  A bit dusty as found, but will wash up and shine, if desired.  These appear to be old product; cannot find a listing track record for them.  Appear to have never been used; mint condition (except for the dust).
NOTE:  Shade is much, MUCH DARKER, RICHER, DEEPER COBALT BLUE than our sorry photos show (either our camera isn't functioning right or the dust on the shades give a lighter effect to the photos).   Deep, rich cobalt blue glass.   No damage; no chips, cracks, dings.
