VIntage 80’s Chimgard Woodstove/Stovepipe Surface Thermometer (Condar Company)

For Sale is One (1) VIntage 1980’s Chimgard Woodstove/Stovepipe Surface Thermometer Manufacture by the Condar Company. This surface thermometer is approximately 2 1/2” in diameter and approximately 3/8” thick. This thermometer is in excellent condition, the porcelain enameled surfaces are bright with no scratches, chips or rust. The thermometer is held to woodstove/stovepipe with a magnet on backside of face and has a foldable wire handle for moving the unit while hot. This thermometer was tested and in working condition. Thermometer will be shipped in the original plastic case.
The thermometer has three temperature zones yellow, orange and red. The yellow zone indicates the woodstove/stovepipe is being operated at too low a temperature which may result in creosote buildup and potential fire hazard. The red zone indicates the woodstove/stovepipe is being operated at too high a temperature wasting fuel or possibly damaging the unit or creating a fire hazard to the surrounding area. The orange zone indicates optimal operating conditions.
