Vintage 1950s Advertising Thermometer Light Switch Plate Hallam Nebraska

Description

This is a great looking, vintage advertising Thermometer light switch plate that was given out by Suiter's General Merchandise and Locker Service in Hallam, Nebraska in the 1950s.  It is made to replace a standard switch plate, just use the old screws and place this one over the switch.  The phone number is ST 7-3130, which, in the 1950s a two letter prefix was used for the first two numbers.  The thermometer works.  The plate is made of brown plastic.  It is marked: The Family That Prays Together, Stays Together.  Has the original cardboard slip cover (photo 6).  It is unused with no damage or wear.  In 2004, an F4 tornado struck Hallam and destroyed nearly the whole town.
