    Description

I love slide rules. I used them through school and into my first years in engineering and still carried one in my laptop when I was the boss to challenge young engineers to "feel the numbers in their hands". You have to understand what you are calculating to use one, but they're so quick and elegant. I have several including my college one and a later upgrade to a Faber Castell amongst others.
This is a lovely example of the POST / HEMMI Versalog 1460, made in Japan, and marked POST and HEMMI JAPAN on either side of the cursor, in the original felt-lined leather case which is logo'd Post + Teledyne, so presumably supplied to lucky Teledyne employees. Sadly I had to buy my own.
I'm fascinated by the fixed belt loop on the case AND the additional one that clips on. We never had those on ours and in the mayhem of our office, would probably have resulted in mortal injury to the slide rule or worse. Can someone tell me more please, if you used one of those loops.

COLORADO SALES TAX CHANGE 1st December 2018.
As of this date, as a Colorado-based business, I am required to charge sales tax based on your location in Colorado rather than my location. Based on my in-state sales volume, the way I am going to do this is set a flat rate of 9% and refund the difference BEFORE I SHIP. As I'm human (I hope), I will forget occasionally, so please remind me if necessary. If you are in a location where the sales tax is above 9% and below 10%, I will absorb that difference. If your location is charging 10% or more, I will send a message requesting payment of the difference by Paypal. I hope that this will be a short term situation as ebay is progressively automating sales tax collection state by state.
