See the entire North American railroad system in an interactive way that no wall map can provide. Mouse over or click on a track segment and you’ll find information including owner, traffic density, type of signaling and much more. Version 3.11 is updated with new data from the U.S. DOT and FRA. US, Canadian and Mexican railroads shown, from Class 1 railroads to shortlines – even abandoned lines. Route mileage can be calculated and routes highlighted for easier viewing. Over 1200 current and past railroads listed.
Locate over 11,000 stations by name, junction code, Zip Code or SPLC code. Link to Aerial Photos, Google Maps and Topographic Maps via your web browser. An optional inset map shows greater detail in the USA based on USGS 1:100,000 maps.
