    Hand carved and painted LONG BILLED CURLEW SHOREBIRD bird figure by decoy carver JIM SLACK of Pekin, IL
    This is a very large bird, near life size.  Stands approx. 19" tall  x approx. 17-1/2" from beak to tail.  Mounted on an metal rod into wooden base and has an iron bill.  Artist / Carver signed on the bottom:  "Long Billed Curlew / Jim Slack".
    Base seperates from body of bird and this is how it will be shipped.   Last photo is for size comparison.
