Beautifully hand painted Canada Goose with Chicks sculpture from the Christopher Gosset Wildlife Collection. It measures about 9 1/2 in. long, 5 1/2 in. tall and 5 1/2 in. across. Christopher Gosset moved to Canada in 1976 and began working full time on what would become the first collection of waterfowl reproductions in Canada. His pioneering style has been embraced by thousands of nature enthusiasts and collectors. His sculptures are considered the number one waterfowl collection in North America.
At Heritage Artists of Montreal, a mold from the original is created, then a reproduction is cast using their unique cold-cast technique. The castings are hand finished and then hand painted by their skilled in house artists.
This piece comes in its original box and COA.  It is number 775/2000. In like new condition with no chips, cracks, paint loss, dust, etc.
