    Description

Offered here for your consideration are a pair of Child's Beaded Moccasins Circa the late 1880's to the 1920's (no later). When I acquired these fifty give or take (50+/-) years ago they were given to me by my friends mother, they are and have remained as pictured since I received them in 1970. As for dating them, I was told they were "very old" when given them. The moccasins are about 6.5 inches in length (child's foot). The style and materials (Arctic Fox fur & inverted Seal Skin) are indicative of an Alaskan origin, probably Inuit, and would have been worn during the tundra's summer months.
